Enjoy a guided tour of Versailles Gardens and and introduction to Versailles Palace before you keep exploring Versailles on your own. Skip the Line at Versailles Palace and visit all areas of the Palace open to the public with an audio guide. Marvel at the Kings' and Queens apartments and at the famous Hall of Mirrors. Your ticket also gives you access to the Versailles Palace temporary exhibitions, the Coach Gallery and the Versailles Gardens and Park. Enjoy the Versailles Gardens even on the Musical Fountains or the Musical Gardens Show days held on specific days from April to October. When you're ready to go back to Paris, head to Versailles station and board any RER train going back to Paris.

Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • The closest metro station is Javel-Andre Citroen (line 10). Please use exit 2 (sortie 2, left side) saying Rue de la Convention. You will find the Cafe to the left when exiting the metro.
    Your guide will be wearing a Fat Tire Tours t-shirt and holding a sign.

  • Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Notes

  • The Versailles Royal Gardens tour is a guided tour while the rest of the visit will be at leisure with an audio guide.
  • The Versailles Gardens Tour is conducted in small groups of a maximum of 20 people.
  • You are free to stay at the Versailles Palace as long as you want. Return train tickets will be provided by your tour guide so that you can board any train going back to Paris whenever you want.
  • There are train departures every 15-20 minutes from Versailles Station to Paris. You can get off at any station in Paris. Paris stations: Javel, Champ de Mars, Point de l'Alma, Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, Saint Michel, Paris Austerlitz, etc. Feel free to check the REC C (yellow line) itinerary map to see all stops available.
  • The Versailles train station is located at a 10 minutes walking distance from Versailles Palace.
  • This activity operates regardless of weather. We recommend you to check the weather and dress accordingly.
